I CHOOSE THE BEAR | Completed Apparel | Sublimation

You may not like it. You may not understand it. But for those of who do, We choose the bear. Without a moment of doubt. Because I know with a bear, there are two outcomes. It will either leave me alone or it will attack and kill me. Nothing more. There will not be strings attached such as guilt, blame or shame. No one will question MY motives. And as a mother, I choose the bear everytime with my kids. Because again, I know the two outcomes. I can not say that with a non-trusted, unknown male *human. 

And that is the key word. This scenario being shared around social media - is talking about UNKNOWN, unsafe and non-trusted male. There are a select group of very trusted Males in my life that are allowed to be around my children alone. We keep it small. We keep our kids safe. We choose the bear.
